Both excel at shafting the average citizen.

One party makes believe it is helping its base, composed mainly of the complacent, the former middle class, former union workers, wage slaves, the unemployed, orphans, widows, the sick, the elderly and the ever trusting.

The other party, composed mainly of the complacent, the young, the beautiful, the smart, the successful and super rich––or those further down the line who someday hope to own a yacht––makes no bones about shafting everyone who isn't born lucky and proud rich.

When one party losses favor with the millions who still find reason to go to the polls, the other party––often erroneously called the opposition––takes over to continue chipping away at the rights and economic security of the masses.

Michelle and the Friends of Michelle (FOM) are an attractive element of the Fake Party, sometimes referred to in jest as the Democratic Party. Trump, Bonner and all the other ugly people in the Republican No-Fake Party are much more attractive because they are up-front about being fascists. The masses judge No-Fake Party leaders to be more noble and more dependable in delivering their campaign platform because Republicans don't change into arch-hypocrites upon taking office. And they see to little details like gerrymandering for gaining power.

What you see is what you get when you vote Republican, which is probably what tipped the balance in their favor in the last election. Enough swing voters preferred Ugly Reality to Pretty Unreality, Truth and Death to Lies and Death.
Jay–Ottawahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10360356126450612113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-974773076690597683.post-87423499499262610042017-05-14T10:51:04.817-04:002017-05-14T10:51:04.817-04:00Great summary Karen. I'm waiting for the time when the manufacturers of 'processed food-like substances' ask the government for a bailout because too many of their customers have perished from diabetes. This will happen at the same time that the healthcare insurers ask the government for additional assistance in dealing with the diabetes epidemic. Meanwhile the AI community will be developing ways to make capital-intensive food-like substance production more efficient with the internets of everything, while simultaneously developing more efficient diabetes monitoring electronics with RF capability that can be surveilled by the healthcare providers and healthcare insurers.

JKAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-974773076690597683.post-86661415136718374822017-05-14T00:11:34.397-04:002017-05-14T00:11:34.397-04:00Karen, you are inimitable.
