Blog Update

Just a heeds-up to my readers that posts will be intermittent at best for the next little while. I have been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and was hospitalized during Christmas week, put on meds and scheduled for a procedure called atrial ablation mid-month. I am feeling pretty good other than being very tired.

Please continue to submit comments if you feel so inclined. Or if you wish to contact me privately you can email me at herecomestrouble665@gmail. com.

Thanks for your patience. I hope to be back making trouble soon. Happy New Year to all!

Good luck and get well. I just had a pacemaker put in for related heartbeat issues. I found the emotional impact was as significant as the physical problem, making me intensely upset by sensations I'd been happy to ignore before, and I did not get better until I admitted that to myself. This is all really unpleasant.

I want to tell you to take it easy and not read the NYT any more, but the very best of the very few laughs I get these days are of the sardinicky variety.

Get well soon, Karen!

Despite our longstanding differences I still value your very different opinions as food for thought. Best wishes for a full recovery.

Mega dittos Karen, love the email address btw. What’s up Zee - any softening on the Gaza/apologetics for Israel situation in the last year?

Hey Karen, I hope you are feeling better by now. I just want to express my surprise to you about how dumb Americans are. I always knew that our population was not the smartest bunch. But, the sheer stupidity of voting in a convicted felon and mobster goes beyond my wildest imagination. I gotta say that Sarah Kendzior hit the nail right on its head. I hope you've been reading her. I keep hoping the left will have more to say than what Robert B Reich is saying. I think the left is scared stiff of AOC. But she is the future, all these other dimwits are our past. Get well soon!

Dear Karen: My get well card from one a-fibber to, I hope, a former one which makes this one a literal heart to heart message.
More has happened since we last heard from you than can be summarized here. A momentous convulsion has arrived. Many are in a conniption about how we got here. Some are tracing it back to the 15th cent. Papal Doctrine of Discovery.
Your dissenting voice is even more important now than ever. Even unthinking people are beginning, barely, to wonder. Those who can awaken the interest of the unconscious are needed now.
I've really missed you. BTW, you'd have some good company on Substack.
